High-reliability electrical infrastructure. Safety, operational continuity, and energy efficiency in the 3rd phase of the Teruel Penitentiary Center

The third phase of the Teruel Penitentiary Center involved the expansion of strategic infrastructure aimed at strengthening the complex’s operational and functional capacity. Spanning an approximate area of 11,000 m², the project required the development of electrical installations adapted to the demanding standards of safety, power redundancy, and reliability typical of critical public infrastructure.
With an installed capacity of 2 MW, the designed electrical system ensures a continuous supply to the various buildings, security systems, perimeter lighting, technical facilities, and operational equipment of the site. The execution of the electrical infrastructure was integrated into the construction process led by Acciona, ensuring efficient energy distribution, internal grid stability, and response capacity for high electrical demand scenarios in an environment where service continuity is critical.

Secure electrical infrastructure

The power architecture has been designed to support critical infrastructure such as control, surveillance, communications, and general services, guaranteeing electrical stability and permanent operation in an institutional environment with high operational demands.

Installed power capacity

The 2MW capacity allows for the powering of lighting systems, technical equipment, HVAC installations, and security systems, ensuring stable and efficient operation within a public infrastructure of great operational responsibility.

Installations for public infrastructure

The electrical development of this construction phase is integrated into a public infrastructure project aimed at strengthening the capacity of the Teruel Penitentiary Center. It combines energy efficiency, operational robustness, and adaptation to electrical installation regulations for strategic institutional buildings.
