Beginnings: Gedesel
is born

More than forty years ago, in 1982, Miguel Lana Romeo started more than just a company: he gave shape to a way of understanding work, commitment, and keeping one’s word.

With daily effort, brave decisions, and many hours of dedication, that family project grew step by step, always close to the people and places where energy was needed to move forward.

Time brought a second generation, new ideas, and the same essence: doing things well, taking care of clients, and building lasting relationships. Thus, almost without realizing it, Gedesel spans decades, territories, and challenges, keeping its origins intact.

A story built on perseverance, trust, and the future.

A story built on perseverance, trust, and the future.

Gedesel: Powering energy

Since its inception, Gedesel has been synonymous with drive, progress, and safety. A force measured in people, effort, and long-term vision.

Growing, evolving, and supporting each client is integral to its understanding of a job well done.

Saint Loyalty: Commitment and loyalty

With the clear conviction of being there when and where you need us most. Maintenance is not just a technical response; it’s a relationship built on trust, proximity, and responsibility.

Nurturing what we build is a way of showing respect for everyproject and every client.

Gedesel Teruel: A commitment to the region

Born from the desire to be present in our own environment and respond with agility and local sensitivity. A strong commitment to the region, its business community, and the people who live there.

Growing together from within, looking toward the future.

Vision

Human Energy.

In a business environment where professional labor is scarce and significantly impacts the bottom line, knowing how to manage that “Human energy” is just as important as knowing how to manage the raw material they work with: “Electrical energy.”

The demand for work-life balance, the growing interest of workers in social impact, sustainability, and the overall experience at the companies where they work, will determine the recruitment and retention of that talent.

Long-term vision, commitment to the community and the company, loyalty, and flexibility are some of the characteristics of a family business. These traits are aligned with the aforementioned realities that mark our path forward.

That is why it makes sense to bolster our company with the solidity and organization necessary to welcome that third generation, while also maintaining the essence of our origins.

Mission

Protect people, installations
and production processes..

This has been the company’s role since Gedesel’s inception.

Why in that order? There is no debate regarding the safety of people against potential “electrical accidents.”

Furthermore, well-maintained electrical infrastructures will allow the production process to proceed under the proper safety conditions, now and ten years from now, where new electrical power generation technologies, along with consulting, installation, maintenance, and management—including new technologies supported by Artificial Intelligence—become paramount.

All of this aims to maximize production and excellence.

Why “Human Energy”?

At Gedesel, energy is more than just electricity: it is knowledge, commitment,
and responsibility. Because behind every installation, there are always people who think, anticipate, and improve. Because while technology advances, it is human energy that guarantees safety, continuity, and a sustainable future.

Por eso es.

"And why is E = Gedesel?"

We start our logo with the letter E, which is the only vowel that appears in our name.

This gives rise to the idea of E for energy, and we link it to Einstein’s famous formula E=mc². We use that “E=” to equate it with Gedesel.

This creates a wordplay that equates Gedesel with energy.

The greater the experience, innovation, and human commitment, the greater the energy we generate in the form of efficiency, safety, and reliability.”
