Promoting the largest industrial food logistics ecosystem
in BonÀrea, Aragón

The bonÀrea food center in Épila represents one of the largest industrial and logistics developments in the agri-food sector in Spain. Covering an area of 180 hectares, this mega-complex is designed to integrate food production, processing, and distribution within a highly technified industrial ecosystem.

The deployment of industrial electrical infrastructure has been key to ensuring the efficient operation of the various logistics warehouses, production plants, and automated systemsthat comprise the complex. With an installed capacity of 10 MW, the electrical installationssupply industrial refrigeration processes, automated storage, logistics systems, and high-energy consumption equipment. This energy project is integratedinto an industrial infrastructure that aims to become one of the largest food hubs inSouthern Europe, with the capacity to supply hundreds of stores and consolidate a highlyefficient production and distribution model.

Energy for the food
industry

The Épila food complex requires electrical infrastructure designed to meet the high energy demands of the modern food industry. The developed electrical systems power production processes, industrial refrigeration systems, logistics automation, and storage facilities, ensuring operational continuity, electrical safety, and energy efficiency within a large-scale industrial environment.

Large-scale logistics platform

Spanning 180 hectares, the bonÀrea food center operates as a true industrial city dedicated to food production and distribution. The complex integrates logistics warehouses, processing plants, and service areas connected by advanced technical infrastructure that optimizes the flow of goods, energy, and industrial processes within a single production environment.

10 MW to your table

The installed electrical capacity provides the energy capability necessary to support the complex’s industrial and logistical operations. This electrical system manages large energy loads linked to cold storage, industrial automation, and internal transport systems, ensuring electrical stability and energy availability for a strategic project in the agri-food sector.
